NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - Police tell WAVY.com a woman reported that six pit bull puppies were stolen from her home on Woodall Court in Newport News.
Police believe the victim left her doors unlocked because there were no signs of forced entry. Witnesses told police they saw a possible suspect running from the home.
The victim told WAVY.com the puppies were stolen at around 6 p.m. on June 2. There were two females; one brown, with a white marking on her chest and a white stripe on her nose and a black one with a full white chest and a white triangle on her nose. There were four males; one was black with white around its neck, one brown with white on its chest, another black one with a white spot in the shape of Texas on its chest, and one brown one with brindle and a white mask. The victim said all the puppies have blue eyes.
The puppies' owner also told WAVY.com the puppies are on medication and they need it.
